PeaceTech Perspectives

What's coming up

Welcome!

The Interdisciplinary PeaceTech Network (IPTN) promotes skill sharing and mutual understanding across the very different fields of technology and peacebuilding.

The term ‘PeaceTech’ refers to the multiple ways that technology is being used to advance peace and sustainability around the globe. It also acknowledges the shaping of society by technology, with subsequent effects on social dynamics on and offline.

Our diverse network encompasses tech, academic and practice backgrounds from institutions and organisations across the UK and beyond. Our focus is to address the gap of understanding and skills between the peacebuilding and tech worlds, to forge connections, and to develop a critical reflection space for this rapidly developing field.

If you are interested in ‘tech for good’, please join us - all voices valued!

New generation thinkers

Calling all those interested in how we employ tech for social good, from conflict-free and peaceful societies to positive online communities. Our network explores how to develop and use peacebuilding technology in a safe and considered way.

We meet online on the first Tuesday of every month from 1-2pm UTC.
Please get in touch if you'd like to join us.
